COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Nov. 15, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
793 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,239,532*;
12 new deaths, for a total of 17,190 deaths, i.e.;
0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
12 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
0 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago; NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
3,287 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,684 hospitalizations, including 566 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 2 compared to the previous day;
238 new entries,
240 new discharges;
33 people in intensive care, including 19 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 5 compared to the previous day;
11 new entries,
16 new discharges;
8,192 samples conducted on November 13;
309,340 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 260,253 positive: 180 declared for yesterday, including 159 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
12,365 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,115,780 doses received by Quebecers.
