COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Nov. 11, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
739 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,237,025*;
14 new deaths, for a total of 17,166 deaths, i.e.;
2 deaths in the last 24 hours,
6 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
6 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago; NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
3,633 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,762 hospitalizations, including 613 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 68 compared to the previous day;
110 new entries,
178 new discharges;
40 people in intensive care, including 25 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 1 compared to the previous day;
8 new entries,
9 new discharges;
12,027 samples conducted on November 9;
308,267 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 259,286 positive: 147 declared for yesterday, including 133 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
20,304 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,061,804 doses received by Quebecers.
