COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Nov. 10, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
910 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,236,286*;
16 new deaths, for a total of 17,152 deaths, i.e.;
0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
9 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
7 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago; NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
3,670 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,830 hospitalizations, including 644 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 11 compared to the previous day;
131 new entries,
142 new discharges;
41 people in intensive care, including 27 due to COVID-19, which remains stable compared to the previous day;
7 new entries,
7 new discharges;
12,263 samples conducted on November 8;
307,969 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 259,014 positive: 154 declared for yesterday, including 137 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
20,672 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,040,709 doses received by Quebecers.
