AM Best to Discuss Rating Committee Process at Casualty Actuarial Society's Annual Meeting
AM Best Associate Director Vicky Riggs will lead a session on a mock rating committee process during the 2022 Casualty Actuarial Society's (CAS) annual meeting, which is scheduled for Nov. 6-9, 2022, in Minneapolis, MN.
The session will use a hypothetical insurance company to illustrate the typical rating committee meeting process, which will include examples of how AM Best views items such as innovation, environmental, social & governance (ESG), enterprise risk management, among others. The mock rating hearing session will be an interactive rating process and discussion moderated by Robert Wolf, vice president and chief actuary, Stone Trust Commercial Insurance Company. The session will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the Marquette Ballroom at the Hilton Minneapolis.
