Introducing the Knix Fund
Global intimates and apparel brand Knix is proud to announce the launch of their first ever focused giving program - Knix Fund. The Knix Fund was inspired by Knix's ongoing desire to be the change it wants to see in the world, while funding progress and development amongst like-minded grassroots organizations, community initiatives and storytellers.
Voted on by Knix employees the focus for the inaugural year and $200,000 commitment is Period Poverty Equity and Period Poverty.
Since its inception in 2013, Knix has been on a mission to break barriers while supporting their community to live unapologetically free. Annually, Knix employees will cast their votes for the area of focus they want the Knix Fund to contribute to for the year. For its inaugural year Knix employees have chosen the focus area of Period Poverty/Period Equity. Through the Knix Fund, organizations, storytellers and groups will receive the opportunity to apply for funding that will help them start or sustain their work in helping to shed light on period equity and eradicate period poverty.

Applicants in the Period Poverty/ Period Equity space that are charitable organizations, storytellers and/or community groups are eligible to apply. An internal committee consisting of ERG leads, executives, HR representatives and select Knix employees will decide which recipients align the strongest within the focus area. The top four recipients will receive funding from the $200,000 yearly Knix Fund commitment. Knix will follow their journey throughout the year and highlight how they use their funds to make a positive change.
The Knix Fund launches on October 6th, 2022 and is available to applicants across the United States and Canada. The deadline to apply for the Knix Fund is November 6th, 2022.
