Sky's The Limit Amplifies Black Businesses In Honor of Black Business Month this August

The Organization Launches Partnership With Blackwood (a co-working space in Tulsa's Greenwood District) To Support Black Entrepreneurs Through $2,500 Grant

OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 17, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SkysTheLimit.org ("Sky's the Limit"), the digital community transforming the playing field for entrepreneurial success, is celebrating National Black Business Month through a breakthrough partnership with Tulsa, Oklahoma professional community Blackwood to provide vital support to the area's emerging black businesses.

Blackwood is a hub for creatives and entrepreneurs, inspired by the history of Black Wall Street in the Greenwood District. The co-working facility seeks to create safe spaces for businesses to grow where the torch of economic impact can be passed onto the next generation. The company's mission aligns with Sky's The Limit's commitment to being a resource to help young entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams and find real success in the market. To launch the partnership, Sky's The Limit and Blackwood teamed up to award a $2,500 grant to an entrepreneur making waves in Tulsa through promoting products or services that disrupt the market and positively impact the community.

Krystal Speed was awarded the first grant in a roll-out of funding initiatives, mentorship and networking opportunities available through Sky's the Limit to the Tulsa community. Krystal's business, Your HR Strategist, was selected for the award because of its potential for growth and deep impact. The company leverages her 15 year experience in Human Resources to help early stage entrepreneurs scale their businesses through the design and implementation of HR processes and systems. This infusion of capital will assist in marketing efforts to increase brand awareness and also investing in market research to learn more about the needs of our target customers.
