COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, June 30, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
1,568 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,090,312*;
13 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, for a total of 15,589 deaths;
6,644 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,294 hospitalizations, for an increase of 34 compared to the previous day;
152 new entries,
118 new discharges;
42 people in intensive care, for an increase of 7 compared to the previous day;
10 new entries,
3 new discharges;
12,860 samples conducted on June 28;
233,137 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 192,694 positive: 784 declared for yesterday, including 705 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
6,750 doses administered are added, that is 6,535 doses in the last 24 hours and 215 doses before June 29, for a total of 20,047,385 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 341,756 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 20,389,141 doses received by Quebecers.
