Cornerstone announces AGM results


OTTAWA, June 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. ("Cornerstone" or "the Company") (TSXV:CGP) (Frankfurt:GWN) (Berlin:GWN) (OTC:CTNXF) is pleased to announce that all items of business presented for approval at its annual meeting of shareholders held in a virtual-only format on June 29, 2022 have been approved by the requisite majority of Cornerstone's shareholders, as follows:

  1. Fixing the number of directors to be elected for the ensuing year at six;
  2. Electing the nominees of Cornerstone to the board of directors of the Company for the ensuing year;
  3. Re-appointing McGovern Hurley LLP as the auditors of the Company for the ensuing year and authorizing the board of directors of the Company to fix their remuneration.

15,068,676 common shares, or 40.81% of the 36,921,279 outstanding common shares as of May 25, 2022, the record date for the meeting, were represented at the meeting.

The directors were re-elected with between 99.87% and 99.36% of the votes cast at the meeting (and between 0.13% and 0.64% votes withheld).

The auditors of the Company were re-appointed with 99.99% of the votes cast at the meeting.
