MedWand Solutions, Inc. Blasts Into the Future at Smithsonian's FUTURES Exhibition One-Day Event, Living Longer Festival: Health + Wellness 2050 on June 25th


Taking off to the future of healthcare and beyond, MedWandtm Solutions is pleased to announce that the award-winning telehealth device company will partner with the FUTURES exhibition at the Smithsonian's Arts and Industries Building to support a special event: Living Longer Festival: Health + Wellness 2050 on Saturday, June 25. Located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the free day-long festival will debut a new interactive: "The Doctor is In (Space)!" presented by MedWand for limited hours between 10a -12p, 1p - 3p, and 5p - 7p EDT.

The "Living Longer Festival: Health + Wellness 2050" is a wellness exploration supported by MedWand Solutions. Offering a full day of activities, including hands-on activations, meet-and-greet conversations with innovators and inventors featured in FUTURES, the Festival will also highlight an exciting expert-led session of We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Panel: Living Longer in the Future to explore health on the horizon at 4 p.m. EDT.

During the special pop-up, FUTURES and MedWand will unveil the "The Doctor is In (Space)!" where guests can visit a healthcare provider in the year 2050 with a futuristic distanced healthcare visit. This one-day-only installation shows visitors how they and their medical professionals could monitor key health data from anywhere, anytime, allowing for distanced diagnoses and immediate care.

Supporting in the presentation of a dynamic public program around the future of healthcare is not only a philanthropic and national responsibility to MedWand, but also an opportunity to make an effective impact towards creating a better world.

The day is also part of the Smithsonian's Solstice Saturday, when museums all along the National Mall will stay open late to celebrate the year's longest day.

A company of visionaries and a steward of big ideas, MedWand combines multiple clinically accurate vital sensors and an Ultra-HD resolution camera. Operating via MedWand's VirtualCare Clinic software, physicians can conduct comprehensive video consultations and physical exams over the Internet, with real-time monitoring and recording of key vitals.
