COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, June 15, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
895 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,075,570*;
18 new death reported in the last 24 hours, for a total of 15,514 deaths;
4,335 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,008 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 8 compared to the previous day;
76 new entries,
84 new discharges;
22 people in intensive care, for an increase of 1 compared to the previous day;
3 new entries,
2 new discharges;
11,382 samples conducted on June 13;
220,538 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 181,222 positive: 325 declared for yesterday, including 290 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
4,836 doses administered are added, that is 4,664 doses in the last 24 hours and 172 doses before June 14, for a total of 19,985,009 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 339,072 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 20,324,081 doses received by Quebecers.
