COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, June 10, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
720 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,072,334*;
2 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, for a total of 15,481 deaths;
4,190 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,001 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 5 compared to the previous day;
58 new entries,
63 new discharges;
19 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 4 compared to the previous day;
3 new entries,
7 new discharges;
11,983 samples conducted on June 8;
217,974 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 178,925 positive: 226 declared for yesterday, including 184 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
5,813 doses administered are added, that is 5,493 doses in the last 24 hours and 320 doses before June 9, for a total of 19,962,064 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 338,256 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 20,300,320 doses received by Quebecers.
