StretchLab, Global Leader in Assisted Stretching, Celebrates 200th Studio Opening June 24

StretchLab, the nation's largest and fastest-growing assisted stretching franchise, announced today the grand opening of its 200th studio will take place June 24 in Huntington Beach, California. In less than five years of franchising, the wellness leader has experienced explosive growth across the globe, bringing assisted stretching to the mainstream in the US, Mexico, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand and securing over 700 signed franchise agreements.

To celebrate the debut of the Surf City studio in Huntington Beach June 24, StretchLab will give away free demo stretches to the first 200 guests locally upon doors opening at 7:00 A.M. The studio is also planning other giveaways, swag bags, and festivities around the opening.

Nationwide, StretchLab is commemorating the milestone with a contest to win one of 200 free 25-minute stretches. The general public can enter the contest at www.stretchlab200.com. Participating studios across the country will also be offering $200 off select new memberships. (Discount is applied across the first three months of membership.)

"We are amazed and honored by how quickly StretchLab has grown and been embraced across the country and the globe over the last few years," said Verdine Baker, President of StretchLab. "About five years ago, assisted stretching was not a practice many people had heard of, and now StretchLab is one of the largest boutique wellness franchises in the world. We could not have done it without our dedicated franchise partners and their unending commitment to improving the health and wellness of the communities they serve."

Along with the Surf City studio in Huntington Beach, StretchLab has recently debuted locations in Cincinnati, OH, Mesa, AZ, Eagan, MN, and Cumming, GA, extending its reach to 40 states and four countries and making it the global leader in assisted stretching. In fact, since March 2020, even during the pandemic, StretchLab has consistently opened an average of one studio per week, exemplifying the brand's unwavering support for its franchisees as well as continued consumer demand for wellness services like assisted stretching.

Recently surpassing 700 signed franchise agreements, StretchLab shows no signs of slowing down on its growth trajectory. Some of the areas that these recently signed agreements will bring studios to include Minneapolis, Manhattan, Long Island, Philadelphia, and Miami.

Backed by Xponential Fitness, largest global franchisor of boutique fitness brands, StretchLab has a widespread and devoted following across the country. At StretchLab, clients work one-on-one with highly trained Flexologiststm in an open, modern and friendly environment to increase mobility and flexibility and achieve a deeper, more advanced stretch than one can get on their own. Studios utilize TRX MAPS technology, which tracks mobility, muscle activation, posture and body symmetry, to create individually tailored and more holistic stretching programs for clients to achieve their wellness goals.
