COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, June 7, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
630 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,070,150*;
6 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, for a total of 15,456 deaths;
3,818 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,007 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 31 compared to the previous day;
108 new entries,
139 new discharges;
26 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 2 compared to the previous day;
9 new entries,
11 new discharges;
10,153 samples conducted on June 5;
216,581 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 177,731 positive: 266 declared for yesterday, including 224 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
4,193 doses administered are added, that is 4,039 doses in the last 24 hours and 154 doses before June 6, for a total of 19,945,783 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 337,709 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 20,283,492 doses received by Quebecers.
