COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, May 30, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
350 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,065,682*;
0 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, for a total of 15,412 deaths;
3,680 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,177 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 5 compared to the previous day;
41 new entries,
46 new discharges;
33 people in intensive care, for an increase of 4 compared to the previous day;
7 new entries,
3 new discharges;
8,250 samples conducted on May 28;
213,337 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 174,909 positive: 185 declared for yesterday, including 152 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
3,077 doses administered are added, that is 3,044 doses in the last 24 hours and 33 doses before May 29, for a total of 19,903,377 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 335,820 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 20,239,197 doses received by Quebecers.
