Patrick endorsed by American Seniors Association

SARASOTA, Fla., Feb. 15, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The American Seniors Association ? the conservative alternative to AARP ? announced today that it is endorsing Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick for re-election. In announcing the endorsement Nancy Shields, ASA Executive Director, said, "Patrick pushes back on the destructive policies of the Biden administration, specifically Biden's policies on open borders, Biden's anti-second amendment positions, and Biden's spending of trillions of dollars that only work against the values that conservative senior Americans have fought for."

ASA believes that Patrick's stance and proven record mean that he will fight for seniors in Texas and continue to enact policies that will benefit Texans 50 years and older. With conservative principles as his guidepost, Patrick opposes high taxes. Seniors notice and appreciate a fighter against inflation and policies that erode hard-earned benefits.

"Focusing on strategies to keep Texas families and communities safe and the state economy strong, under Patrick's leadership, the Senate passed legislation to dramatically increase support for border security and reduce burdensome taxes," said Shields. "Lt. Governor Dan Patrick's leadership in the Senate consistently delivers conservative public policy," Shields said. "Patrick boldly opposes the liberal left agenda. He fights for true Republican values that Texans believe in and cherish. ASA proudly endorses his re-election."

About ASA: American Seniors Association was formed in 2009 as the conservative alternative in response to Obamacare. It serves more than 50,000 members with advocacy, products and services. The largest number of ASA members are located in Texas.
