The Great British Columbia ShakeOut is Coming Soon!
VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 15, 2021 /CNW/ - Be part of Canada's largest earthquake drill during the 10th annual Great British Columbia ShakeOut (ShakeOutBC).
ShakeOutBC is a chance to practice how to be safe when the earth shakes. By practicing the Drop, Cover and Hold On response, we can create muscle memory, which helps us react quickly by getting into a safe space during an earthquake. While specific earthquake hazards depend on your location, British Columbia is at high risk of earthquake damage in relation to the rest of Canada.
You can ShakeOut at home, work, school, or even through a video conference with your colleagues.

Media are invited to join representatives from ShakeOutBC and Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) to Drop, Cover and Hold On in-person or by virtual drill.
