European Wax Center, Inc. Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering
European Wax Center, Inc. ("EWC"), the largest and fastest-growing franchisor and operator of out-of-home (OOH) waxing services in the United States, today announced it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") relating to the proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock. Certain selling stockholders identified in the registration statement are selling additional shares of Class A common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.
EWC has applied to list its common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol "EWCZ". The offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether, or when, the offering may be completed or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities, and Jefferies are serving as joint lead book-running managers and as representatives of the underwriters for the proposed offering. Citigroup, Guggenheim Securities, and Truist Securities are serving as bookrunners for the proposed offering.
