Corvias Receives "Best in the Industry" Awards for Air Force Housing

Corvias Property Management, which provides on-post housing for more than 84,000 residents, received 16 "Best in the Industry" awards for customer service excellence at its Air Force Base (AFB) housing communities located at Edwards AFB (California), Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field (Florida), Eielson AFB (Alaska), McConnell AFB (Kansas) and Seymour Johnson AFB (North Carolina).

In addition, Corvias Property Management had the highest cumulative score of all privatized Air Force communities with three of their installations ? Hurlburt Field, McConnell AFB and Seymour Johnson AFB ? ranking in the top 10 out of all Air Force locations for overall score.

"We provide multiple ways for residents to provide input and this third-party survey is an important way to understand the quality of our services," said Holly Costello, senior vice president of Corvias Property Management. "Our work matters ? personally to our employees and directly to the thousands of servicemembers and families as residents. The survey results help guide the decisions that shape our daily operations, policies, and overall improvement plans so we can continue to increase overall resident satisfaction."

On an annual basis, CEL & Associates, Inc., a third-party firm administers the "DoD Tenant Satisfaction Survey," which is funded by the Air Force and uses standardized questions across all military department and housing types for residents to provide feedback on housing operations, services and facilities. The "Best in the Industry" rating reflects the highest level and quality of service across thousands of properties and according to residents' feedback and requires a minimum satisfaction score of 85%.

About Corvias and the Military Housing Privatization Initiative

Corvias is a partner to the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army as part of the U.S. Department of Defense Military Housing Privatization Initiative to revitalize, operate and maintain on-base military family housing. Started in 1996 to solve for a maintenance backlog of more than $20 billion for homes on more than 150 military installations, MHPI has enabled renovations, new construction, and water and energy saving initiatives, including the largest solar project in Kansas at the Corvias partnership at Fort Riley. Unique to Corvias and its MHPI partnerships, a July 2019, first-of-its-kind $325 direct equity investment has enabled energy resilience and modernization capital improvements to improve residents' quality of life and increase energy efficiencies, achieving savings that are directly reinvested into the program.
