OceanTech Acquisitions I Corp. Announces Closing of $100.0 Million Initial Public Offering

OceanTech Acquisitions I Corp. (Nasdaq:OTECU) ("OceanTech" or the "Company") today announced the closing of its previously announced initial public offering of 10,000,000 units at a price of $10.00 per unit. The Company's units commenced trading on Friday, May 28, 2021 on the Nasdaq Capital Market ("Nasdaq") under the symbol "OTECU." Each unit consists of one share of Class A common stock and one redeemable warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one share of Class A common stock at a price of $11.50 per share. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the shares of Class A common stock and warrants are expected to be traded on Nasdaq under the symbols "OTEC" and "OTECW," respectively. The Company granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 1,500,000 additional units at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments.

Maxim Group LLC acted as sole book-running manager for the offering.
