HealthEdge Appoints Matt McLaughlin as New CFO

HealthEdge Software, Inc.® ("HealthEdge"), a leading provider of next-generation technology for healthcare payors and plan administrators across core administrative processing systems, payment integrity, and care management, announced today the addition of Matt McLaughlin as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). HealthEdge is the health insurance industry's first digital nervous system that provides automation and seamless connectivity between all aspects of a payor's administrative and clinical systems.

McLaughlin will succeed Matt Hughes, whose nearly 15-year tenure included HealthEdge's sale to The Blackstone Group and strategic additions to the company's product portfolio of The Burgess Group and Altruista Health. Hughes will remain at HealthEdge through mid-May to assist with the transition.

As CFO, McLaughlin will spearhead HealthEdge's finance, accounting and tax organizations, and corporate development based on his extensive prior experience in similar leadership roles. McLaughlin most recently served as CFO of publicly traded Oxford Immunotec Global PLC, a leading infectious disease diagnostics company. While at Oxford Immunotec, he strategically repositioned the company, resulting in significant growth and ultimately a successful sale to PerkinElmer, Inc. in early 2021.

McLaughlin held several senior finance positions at the General Electric Company across nearly two decades, including as CFO for the North American division of GE Healthcare. In this role, he was responsible for driving top-line growth and margin expansion across the largest segment of GE Healthcare's $19 billion business. McLaughlin earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
