Dr. Cummins began the construction of her first practice just before graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2003. She had a clear vision of her philosophy of care, which integrated clinical excellence, exceptionally personalized treatment, and a uniquely comfortable patient experience. Pursuing these core principles, Dr. Cummins' practice evolved into 2 locations that recently merged into one new contemporary facility. Her focus is on comprehensive aesthetic restoration, implant dentistry, 3-D CBCT imaging, and advanced periodontal therapies.

Dr. Cummins has completed some of the most recognized and respected post-doctoral programs in the country and continues to travel frequently for continuing education. She holds memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. She is a graduate of Midwest Implant Institute and has earned Preferred Provider status with Invisalign. She has been awarded the Louisville Dental Society's Professionalism Award and the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics' Excellence in Prosthodontics Award.

In addition, Dr. Cummins serves as a lecturer and clinical experience preceptor for the Physician Assistant Master's Degree Program at Sullivan University, educating students about the link between oral health and total body health. Her commitment to continually researching in this area is reflected in the contemporary techniques she employs to treat periodontal disease in her practice.

Dr. Sara Cummins' commitment to health and wellness extends beyond the dental office. She is very committed to fitness and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. Her other interests include traveling, cooking, and spending time with her children, Sam and Nora.
