Vertical Bridge Charitable Network Surpasses $6.2 Million in Philanthropic Giving

BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 19, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Vertical Bridge REIT, LLC ("Vertical Bridge" or "the Company") today announced that its philanthropic arm, the Vertical Bridge Charitable Network, has surpassed over $6.2 million in donations since its founding in 2014. The nation's largest private owner and operator of communications infrastructure and locations in the United States, Vertical Bridge donated more than $1.53 million in 2020 alone, the most ever donated by the Company on an annual basis.

While the Vertical Bridge Charitable Network traditionally supports a wide range of causes through donations, employee volunteering and company-wide events, in 2020, the Company largely focused on helping those most impacted by COVID-19. Vertical Bridge's efforts were highlighted by more than $96,000 in donations to food banks, as well as over $70,000 to DigDeep in support of the Navajo Water Project, which brings clean water to the Navajo Nation, one of the most severely-impacted communities in the country.

"The organizations we support through the Vertical Bridge Charitable Network are determined by our employees and customers, and I'm extremely proud that our team chose ? without hesitation ? to redirect our philanthropic efforts to fight the current global health and economic crisis," said Alex Gellman, CEO and Co-Founder of Vertical Bridge. "COVID-19 is unlike anything we have experienced before and as we did in 2020, we will continue our efforts to help individuals, families and businesses impacted by the pandemic throughout this year."

In addition to supporting organizations dedicated to COVID-19 relief and assistance, Vertical Bridge will continue to back other noteworthy causes chosen by its employees and customers in the coming year and will also extend its efforts to habitat preservation through a new partnership with the South Florida Audubon Society. Since its start, the Vertical Bridge Charitable Network has steadily increased its reach in terms of total contributions and the number of organizations it works with each year, a trend Vertical Bridge expects to continue in 2021.
