Safety Vision Partners with J.P. Mascaro & Sons to Guarantee Safe and Efficient Driver Operations

Safety Vision, LLC is proud to announce their recent partnership with J.P. Mascaro & Sons, one of the leading privately-held solid waste and recycling service companies in the northeast. Eager to improve their operational efficiency and safety on the road, J.P. Mascaro & Sons is collaborating with Safety Vision to install in-cab and external cameras on a fleet of over 600 trucks.

After completion of the initial phase in December, beginning in January 2021, Safety Vision will implement their new Observer 4112 Hybrid Video Recorder (HVR) with in-cab and exterior cameras, in order to provide 360-degree views for each truck in the fleet. With this solution, J.P. Mascaro & Sons will not only gain complete coverage for every truck's surroundings but will also receive key insights into their driving operations. All video footage is recorded and stored in the HVR, which allows managers to offload and review data and highlight areas for improvement ? whether it be accident prevention or safer driving practices.

Additionally, J.P. Mascaro & Sons is utilizing Safety Vision's Cloud Services which allows managers to take a live look into any of their fleet's cabin at any time. This enables the entire team to monitor and enhance driving habits because unsatisfactory behaviors can be tackled on the spot, while favorable ones are applauded and observed.

Though the surveillance system will greatly improve operations by analyzing current practices and patterns, drivers on the road are also significantly assisted. The complete solution provides drivers with their own in-cab monitor ? so they get to see their truck's 360-degree surroundings in real-time. This visual enhancement acts as a second pair of eyes for the driver and reduces the risk for accidents and collisions.
