SEATTLE, Oct. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Commute Management Platform Luum today announced that its CEO Sohier Hall will brief the Washington State Transportation Commission on, "The Future of Transportation: Post COVID," Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020 at 9:05 a.m. PT.
Mr. Hall will present to the Committee as part of a panel of executives from McKinsey & Company, the Association of Washington Business, Bedrock Detroit and Boston Consulting, as well as former Washington Governor Christine Gregoire, CEO of Challenge Seattle.
As part of his presentation, "Employers' Commute Programs: A Blueprint and Way Forward for Sustainable Mobility," Mr. Hall will discuss the following:
"How Washington employers and the State act now could determine whether we transition out of COVID into a crisis of traffic congestion and parking availability, or whether we have sustainable mobility for all Washingtonians," said Mr. Hall.
"We are fortunate in Washington State to have forward thinking Transportation Commissioners and Legislators concerned about advancing our shared climate goals and improving equity in our state."
The Washington State Transportation Commission (WSTC) provides an open public forum for transportation policy development. It reviews and assesses how the entire transportation system works across the state and issues the state's 20-year Transportation Plan. As the State Tolling Authority, the WSTC sets tolls for state highways and bridges and fares for Washington State Ferries.
