Pacific Workplaces Offers Zoom Rooms Video Conferencing to Support Remote Workers

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Aug. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Pacific Workplaces (PAC), provider of flexible office spaces in 18 locations throughout California and Nevada, announced today the rollout of Zoom Rooms throughout the portfolio.

"As our members shift to a hybrid model of in-office and work-from-home, we need to provide solutions that make collaboration and communication easy and productive," said Scott Chambers, COO of Pacific Workplaces. "Adding Zoom Rooms to our toolkit of business solutions allows our clients to run their businesses effectively during this time of limited physical interaction in a nearby Pacific Workplaces location."

That toolkit also includes a large selection of meeting rooms at all Pacific Workplaces locations, many equipped with e-board technology from Kaptivo for enhanced collaborative meetings, and LanguageBox for simultaneous translation in international meetings.

A Zoom Room offers more functionality than a regular Zoom meeting. It essentially turns any meeting room into an enhanced video conferencing experience with large flat screen displays, HD cameras, built-in microphones, and wireless content sharing between multiple users for a seamless and interactive experience. Users can meet with remote participants on desktop, mobile, or even external conference systems. Meeting set-up and coordination is all taken care of ahead of time and users can activate their meeting with the touch of a button.

"Zoom Rooms offers an improved collaboration experience for remote workers, making the technology more fundamental than ever before," said Laurent Dhollande, CEO of Pacific Workplaces. "Our Zoom Rooms are set-up to respect physical distancing, and all equipment is sanitized before and after each meeting as we strive to create an environment where people feel as safe or safer than home."

Northern California locations in San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Cupertino, and Oakland are currently equipped with Zoom Rooms technology. The rest of the Pacific Workplaces portfolio will follow soon.
