InventHelp Inventor Develops Portable Sink for Washing Hair (MOA-224)

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- While hair washing is essential for personal care, it is not necessarily easy to do for individuals in wheelchairs or with restricted neck movement. With this in mind an inventor from Pensacola, Fla., has come up with a better option than struggling at a conventional sink.

She developed MO' SINK to enable individuals with neck problems to have their hair washed, either assisted or unassisted. As such, it saves time and energy for the elderly and disabled and arthritis sufferers. Comfortable, practical and user friendly, it can be used from either a sitting or standing position and with wheelchairs as well. Its light weight and portability make it easy to transport and versatile for use at home or away from home. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced

The inventor's experience on the job inspired the idea. "Working in a beauty salon, I have encountered people with disabilities who cannot lower their necks to have their hair washed at conventional sinks," she said. "This adaptation would solve that problem."

The original design was submitted to the Mobile sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
