UNITRON Ltd. Renames Industrial Microscope Product Line

COMMACK, N.Y., Aug. 3, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- UNITRON Ltd., a leading manufacturer of precision instruments for electronics, industrial, metallurgical, materials science, research, and educational applications, has renamed its Luxo industrial microscope product line to LX Microscopes by UNITRON®.

The change to LX Microscopes by UNITRON is in name only. All microscopes and accessories are identical in design, manufacturing, function, and performance to those that previously bore the LUXO Microscopes by UNITRON name. "We are excited to reveal the new LX Microscopes by UNITRON name for this product line," said Brian Taub, Executive Vice President of UNITRON. "The new name reinforces our commitment to deliver a portfolio of high-quality optical devices for assembly, inspection, rework and quality control applications." As agreed with Glamox AS during the 2017 acquisition of the microscope product line by UNITRON, all use of the LUXO brand must cease by August 1, 2020.

LX Microscopes by UNITRON will continue to be sold through the existing distribution channels, leveraging their experience and customer relationships.
