New Platform That Turns Trumps Tweets Against Him Raises $570K+, Picks Up Famous Advocates in First Week

NEW YORK, July 6, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- It's been just over a week since Defeat By Tweet launched, and it is already making an impact on the election.

The premise behind the platform is simple - every time Trump tweets, donors make a micro-donation (as low as a penny) to the Justice Fund - a syndicate of Black-led GOTV orgs working in the swing states. The more Trump tweets, the more financial support pours in for orgs working to vote him out.

Since launching on Friday, June 26, the platform has picked up nearly 10,000 donors and is now moving nearly $500 to the field every time Trump tweets. DBT has raised over $570,000 in its first 10-days.
