Tehama Announces Digital by Default Summit: A Community Event Featuring Insights From Leading Experts on Digital Workplace Transformation

Tehama, the fastest, easiest, most secure way to deploy a global workforce, has announced its Digital by Default Summit, a free, month-long learning event on digital-first virtual workplaces beginning July 7. The Digital by Default Summit will feature prominent business leaders showcasing the best thinking on sustaining morale, productivity and security for transitioning to a digital-first workforce.

What began as a remote work experiment to help slow the spread of the coronavirus, will change the future of work as we know it. And leading businesses are taking this opportunity to arm themselves with the knowledge they need to reimagine the way they work, and where.

Tehama CEO Paul Vallée said he recognized the need for a community event bringing together an entire ecosystem of leading experts to help enterprises succeed in this next phase of remote working.

"We have survived the emergency transition, and now we turn our attention to inventing our new normal. Enterprises face a starkly different world that forces us to tackle new sources of risk while reimagining our workforce and workplace strategies. This era is rife with invention, opportunities to accelerate digital transformation, and new pathways for access to talent. Likewise, we see a new path to opportunities for talent, a new path to accelerate our diversity and inclusion goals," said Vallée. "None of this will happen automatically. I am thrilled we can contribute by convening this community of doers and thought leaders to cross-pollinate expertise on the technology, strategy and culture shifts that are shaping the future of work for the decade to come."

The Digital by Default Summit will feature two daily sessions with executive-level speakers, practical advice from business leaders, panels and sponsor demonstrations, all centered around sustaining a digital-first workplace. Tehama is also partnering with Work Awesome. As part of the summit, attendees are welcome to tune into daily episodes of the Remote Daily program, a virtual cafe to ease isolation and help us keep connected.

"The world of work was already changing quite fast before Covid-19 arrived, and the pandemic has served to dramatically accelerate these changes while also creating some new and unanticipated change," said Steve Cadigan, Talent Hacker and Advisor at Cadigan Talent Ventures. "It's time we come together as a Digital Community to find out how we can best thrive in this dynamic new reality, and thus I'm really looking forward to engaging in the Digital by Default Summit. I hope to share with you some provocative ideas, and I hope to hear what many of you are facing in your lives as well so we can collaborate our way forward," he added.
