Manimas - Jackson Write-in Presidential Ticket Offers Referendum on Two-party System

SCHENECTADY, N.Y., May 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Calling all non-voters. The unique John Manimas Campaign took a giant step forward after John Manimas filed the certificate of a write-in candidate with the New York State Board of Elections. "The official write-in ballot status is effective in New York State only for now," Manimas said, "But the Real Democracy Party (RDP) that supports me and my Vice-President Henry Jackson is reaching out for crowd sourcing assistance to obtain write-in status in other states."

"This is not a third party," Manimas said. "This political campaign is designed to function like a referendum on the two-party system. If the 40% of voters who do not usually vote cast a write-in ballot for John Manimas, they will be voting against the two-party system and for a list of democratic elections reforms, including mandatory voting." Jackson said, "If John and I do get some electoral votes, and the Democratic candidate does not get the required 270 electoral votes, the RDP will form a coalition with the Democrats after the Democratic House passes the election reform laws that the RDP demands. Then we will donate our electoral votes to the Democratic candidate. This way the non-voters who vote for the first time in November will get something they want for their vote instead of just empty promises."

Manimas said: "The two-party system is a game played by a political class of American nobles.  Only large corporations get the laws that they want, which usually means tax breaks that channel taxpayer money to them like the conveyor belts in an Amazon warehouse. The elections reforms recommended by a vote for John Manimas include party coalitions, ranked-choice voting, fusion voting, judicial control over the validity of ballots, and automatic voter registration. No campaign contributions would be permitted from a business entity ? because only persons have a right to vote." Another reform recommended by Manimas is suspension of party membership for anyone who is elected to office. "Political parties should be used for elections only," Manimas said, "but after you are elected your loyalty is supposed be 100% to your Constitution, district, state and nation, not to a faction." Elections information for all is found at the John Manimas Campaign and the Revolution by Vote, or the URL:  www.realdemocracyparty.org
