OTTAWA, March 29, 2020 /CNW/ - This note is to inform you of the publication of two new components of Statistics Canada's Daily release for Monday, March 30, 2020.

The first is new information relative to COVID-19. In collaboration with the Public Health Agency of Canada, Statistics Canada will release in our Daily on March 30 preliminary data tables related to confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Canada. This data will be available to Canadians and researchers.

The second, is a message to Canadians entitled, "Our Commitment to Serve Canadians during the COVID19 outbreak." from Anil Arora, Chief Statistician of Canada. 

The tables and the Chief Statistician's address will be published in The Daily on statcan.gc.ca (https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/dai-quo/index-eng.htm?HPA=1) at 8:30 a.m. eastern time March 30.
