Jean Griswold Foundation Activates Griswold Gives Program Early to Aid Nonprofits During Pandemic

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., March 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Jean Griswold Foundation, a nonprofit named for the founder of Griswold Home Care, has activated its annual Griswold Gives grant program early to assist local nonprofits during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's program will be renamed the Griswold Gives COVID-19 Emergency Relief Program in light of the ongoing crisis.

The Griswold Gives COVID-19 Emergency Relief Program will help support senior-focused nonprofits in all of Griswold Home Care's markets, including food banks, meal delivery programs and senior centers. The Jean Griswold Foundation updated this year's Griswold Gives grant program in response to many local nonprofits struggling with a lack of funding, resources and volunteers due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Griswold Gives grant program was launched in 2019 as part of the Jean Griswold Foundation's work to support seniors and disabled adults in need across the U.S. Through the program, Griswold Home Care's franchise directors have awarded 101 grants to local nonprofits of their choice.
