Arctic Fox To Donate 100% Of February Sales To Various Charities That Help Protect Animals
SAN DIEGO, Jan. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Arctic Fox Hair Color, the trendsetting vegan and cruelty-free hair color and care brand dedicated to fighting for the protection of animals, announced today that they will be donating 100% of their online sales to four different charitable organizations throughout the month of February. They regularly donate 15% of all profits to select charities that align with their mission to help prevent animal cruelty. The company is also encouraging people to donate directly to these organizations, if they are so inclined.
Beginning earlier this month and currently running, Arctic Fox is donating 25% of their proceeds to the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to aid their rescue of wildlife from the bushfires that have burned over 26 million acres of Australia since June. More than a billion animals are estimated to have been killed by the raging fires, resulting in several endangered species facing extinction, more than one third of the koala population killed, and severe loss of habitat.
Due to the overwhelming amount of support their consumers (known as the Fox Fam) expressed for this cause, Arctic Fox was inspired to donate 100% of their online sales for the month of February to a different organization each week. The company will also be covering shipping costs on all domestic orders to encourage people to get involved. The first week's sales will continue to be provided to IFAW and their efforts in Australia. The second week, the company will donate their sales to Friends of the Australian Koala Foundation, the principal non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the effective management and conservation of the Koala and its habitat. The following week, all sales will be provided to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy's Global Recovery Fund, which is actively aiding the largest critical needs of the Australia bushfires, including the residents and the loss of houses, firefighters, and the rapid depletion of biodiversity. To round out the month, Arctic Fox will be donating to Animal Place to bring awareness to the fact that while the horrific fate of Australian animals is extremely heartwrenching, there are millions of farm animals tortured and killed every day to satisfy the notoriously controversial meat industry. Animal Place is one of the largest farm animal rescues in the United States with a mission to provide sanctuary, education, and advocacy in protection against factory farming.
