ERI's John Shegerian Delivers Keynote Presentation at Capital Roundtable Event: Treasure in the Trash

John Shegerian, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of ERI, the nation's leading fully integrated IT and electronics asset disposition provider and cybersecurity-focused hardware destruction company, delivered an informative keynote presentation today at the Capital Roundtable event, "Treasure in the Trash: Where PE Firms are Finding Success in Waste and Recycling" at the University Club in Manhattan.

For the event, Shegerian shared his presentation, "From Environmental Protection to Brand Protection...and Way Beyond" to the gathering of leading Middle Market Private Equity experts and industry analysts. During the presentation, he shared the promise high tech innovation has brought to the recycling of old electronics, as well as insights on the circular economy and the very real dangers of data theft and cybercrime via physical devices and how solutions to combat that problem have rapidly evolved.

The Capital Roundtable hosts a series of events emphasizing and providing "need-to-know" information of current emerging trends and best practices. Since 2003, almost 30,000 people and 6,000 speakers have participated in over 300 of conferences on nearly 100 topics.

"It was a great honor and privilege to be here at the Capital Roundtable, sharing information about some of the most critical and pressing issues in society today ? the mounting glut of e-waste, protecting private data, and moving more and more businesses into the circular economy," said Shegerian. "We're also proud to be able to share best practices and a real-time example of how through innovation and collaboration, we can protect people and the planet and grow our profits all at the same time."
