Backstage Revival NEW Christmas single "I See A Star" out now

YORBA LINDA, Calif., Nov. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Backstage Revival is pleased to announce their debut single, "I See A Star". Birthed out of reflection on the hope and wonder of Christmas, this simple and melodic worship song is the perfect musical debut for the brand new singer/songwriter duo. Produced by Casey Corum and sung by John Lazenby, the simple truths of the lyrics coupled with the luscious cello arrangement, allows the listener to slow down from the frenzied pace of the holidays and remember what Christmas is really about. "Backstage Revival" is comprised of husband-and wife singer/songwriters John and Anne Lazenby. This duo leads people into the presence of God though soulful Americana-style worship. Based in Yorba Linda, CA and serving as worship leaders at Vineyard Community Church in Laguna Niguel, both John and Anne have been writing songs and leading worship since the early 1990's. Once they married in 2005, they began leading worship together and shared a deep conviction that "what is done in secret will be rewarded openly". This principal has been the driving force behind Backstage Revival for the last 14 years and is based on the life of Jesus, who never had to self promote but somehow attracted an audience wherever he went.

It is for this reason that BSR waited over a decade to put out their own music, until now. When the songs that John and Anne had written in private devotion had spilled over into the public setting, it became apparent that there was a hunger for this type of authentic worship. Eager to serve their community, the Lazenby's set up an in-house recording studio and have been working on their debut album for the last 2 years. Starting with their single "I See A Star", the duo is beginning to release their highly anticipated original music. Backstage Revival will continue to release singles until March 2020 when their 12 track self titled debut record "Backstage Revival" is released. John and Anne have the full support of their congregation, pastors, and most importantly their four beautiful children who couldn't be happier for their parents' musical endeavors!
