MATT MATERN 2020: Files for California GOP Presidential Nomination

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Following last week's successful New Hampshire announcement that he was an official candidate for the Republican nomination for president, Matt Matern, a successful entrepreneur, attorney and philanthropist from Los Angeles will formally join the California primary election contest by filing his required candidacy paperwork and supporting documentation with the California Secretary of State's Elections Division, located at 1500 11th Street in Sacramento, California.

According to Matern, "It's time for someone to stand up to Donald Trump. Republicans used to believe in lower taxes, personal responsibility, keeping deficits under control and free trade. This President doesn't follow any fiscal ideals or laws in general which is why he is facing impeachment. Not only has Donald Trump betrayed the fiscal principles that Republicans have believed for generations, he has disgraced the office that he swore to protect. Americans deserve an end to the daily Twitter drama and divisive politics that has engulfed this country for the past three years. The more I talk to voters, particularly California Republican voters, I hear a growing disenchantment with Donald Trump. I'm running to give those voters a voice and a chance to tell Donald Trump that we won't put up with the direction he's taking the Republican Party or our Republic."

Matt Matern is running for President of the United States in 2020 with a determined promise to return the Republican Party to its core values of civility, fiscal and personal responsibility, and fundamental fairness for every American. As part of his campaign platform, Matern is proposing a 100% tax cut on American families making less than $100,000 a year.

Matt Matern has spent twenty-seven years defending his clients' legal and constitutional rights as an attorney. Because Matern believes social responsibility should always follow personal success, he founded the Satyagraha Alliance in 2017. The foundation supports nonprofits that serve the homeless and the food insecure, as well as those that fight climate change.

Matt Matern received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School and his B.A. from Tulane University.
