Allwell From Superior HealthPlan Announces Partnership With National Council On Aging To Prevent Falls Among Seniors

AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Allwell from Superior HealthPlan announces a partnership with the National Council on Aging (NCOA) to help prevent falls among Medicare Advantage beneficiaries.

Falls are a leading cause of injury for people aged 65 and older and can threaten their safety and independence, as well as generate great economic and personal hardships. However, through evidence-based falls prevention programs and partnerships between organizations like Allwell from Superior HealthPlan and NCOA, the number of falls among older adults can be substantially reduced.

Medicare is a government health insurance program for people ages 65 or older. It may also cover certain younger people with disabilities.
