Rick Melnick Joins DunhamTrimmer

DunhamTrimmer, the market leader in business intelligence for the biocontrols and biostimulants industries, announced today it has named Rick Melnick the company's new Vice President of Global Business. As an established professional in the biocontrols space, Melnick brings 25 years of experience in agriculture, marketing, communications, and business management to the organization.

The move marks another key hire for DunhamTrimmer, the company that has emerged as the pre-eminent resource for clients seeking data and business intelligence relating to biocontrols and biostimulant markets, technologies, and distribution strategies around the world.

"Rick brings a truly unique combination of knowledge, experience, and capabilities to our organization," said Mark Trimmer, DunhamTrimmer's Managing Partner. "His passion, vision, and proven leadership within the biocontrols arena are well-known and highly regarded. He makes a formidable addition to our team and positions us for continued growth and success in the biocontrols/biostimulants markets."

Melnick is outgoing Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA), a US-based trade association representing the biocontrols and biostimulants industries. He is also a former president of BioProtection Global, the global association of biocontrols trade organizations. In his 25-year career, Melnick has served in Director positions with both Valent BioSciences and Meister Media Worldwide.

"I am honored and excited to be joining an organization as successful and well respected as DunhamTrimmer," said Melnick. "I know from experience it is a company known for exceeding expectations, and I intend to carry on in that tradition."

DunhamTrimmer is currently at the Biostimulants World Congress in Barcelona promoting its new Biostimulants Global Market Report, due out in January. For more information on the report, email or visit dunhamtrimmer.com.
