Matt Matern Announces Campaign for Republican Nomination for President of the United States

CONCORD, N.H., Nov. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Matt Matern, a successful entrepreneur, attorney, and philanthropist from Los Angeles, California announced his intention to seek the nomination of the Republican Party for President of the United States. Matt Matern will officially register at 11am with the New Hampshire Secretary of State at the Concord Capitol building.

According to Matern, "Donald Trump is leading the Republican Party off a cliff. Republicans used to believe in lower taxes, keeping deficits under control, and free trade. This President doesn't follow any of those fiscal ideals. Not only has President Trump betrayed the fiscal principles that Republicans have believed for generations, he has disgraced the office that he swore to protect. Americans deserve an end to the daily drama and divisive politics that has engulfed this country since he was elected. The more I talk to voters, particularly Republican voters, I feel a growing disenchantment toward Donald Trump. I'm running to give those voters a voice."

Matt Matern is running for President of the United States in 2020 with a determined promise to return the Republican Party to its core values of civility, fundamental fairness for every American, and fiscal and personal responsibility. As part of his campaign platform, Matern is proposing a 100% tax cut on American families making less than $100,000 a year.

Matt Matern has spent more than 30 years defending his clients' legal and constitutional rights as an attorney. Because Matern believes social responsibility should always follow personal success, he founded the Satyagraha Foundation in 2017. The foundation supports nonprofits that serve the homeless and the food insecure, as well as those that fight climate change.

Matt Matern received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School and his B.A. from Tulane University.
