Matrix Expedited Partners with Wreaths Across America to Honor America's Veterans

FLINT, Mich., Nov. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Since 1992 Wreaths Across America has set out to honor every fallen hero with a wreath laid at their grave site every holiday season. This year through generous corporate and private donations they will place 2.3 million wreaths at national cemeteries around the world to honor our veterans including at Michigan's own Great Lakes National Cemetery. In order to help them attain this goal, Matrix Expedited Great Lakes National Wreath Fund has a goal of sponsoring 2,500 wreaths in 2019. Matrix is asking for public sponsors to assist them in this endeavor. Great Lakes National Cemetery provides over 30,000 internments and that number grows by 3000 every year. In addition, Matrix is proud to provide to donate transportation services for the truckloads of the wreaths themselves from Columbia Falls, MA to the Great Lakes National Cemetery. On December 14, 2019, at 12:00PM in coordination with the annual wreath laying at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington, VA wreaths will be ceremoniously laid upon the graves of our country's heroic veterans who have lost their lives. Sponsorship will pay for a hand-crafted wreath to be made from all-American balsam and tied with a red velvet bow. The hand-made wreaths are then sent from the Wreaths Across America to one of 1,200 participating locations. On December 14th, a volunteer will place a wreath onto the marker of each fallen veteran, while "saying their name" aloud in order to ensure that their legacy of duty, service, and sacrifice shall never be forgotten.
