Innovator Sam Lanahan has air traffic over his house because of his patented lattice using the mathematics of the carbon sixty molecule. [Sam Lanahan - A Pilot's Dream]

VANCOUVER, Wash., Oct. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Sam Lanahan - A Pilot's Dream

Innovator, Sam Lanahan, was a pilot. He flew small aircraft over Oregon for environmental sciences. After years of study, during his time with Buckminster Fuller, Sam created an extension of the Bucky Ball and the Fullerene. It is called C6XTY and it's named after the carbon 60 molecule.

With a firm foundation for changing the world, C6XTY offers not only a new way of structuring our building materials, but a new way of thinking about efficiency and green architecture. So, naturally, the innovator has sculptures in his yard, right? Yes, he does, and it turns out the pilots from Vancouver, Washington, are using his yard art to signal when to turn around. So Sam Lanahan has unknowingly created a problem for himself and his neighbors in that the air traffic has increased over his house by 400%.

Others living in that neighborhood attest to this fact. The air traffic has increased and it's all because of what the pilots call "The Maple Leaf." For reasons only pilots know, the C6XTY sculptures and lattices appear to be part of a Maple Leaf from above.

Flextegrity Inc, which owns the patented C6XTY lattices (http://c6xty.com), is displaying lattice art sculptures, all hand made by Mr. Lanahan, at the Lattice Gallery, Portland, Oregon, early this fall (http://c6xty.com/lattice-gallery-portland).

For those who want to view the Maple Leaf, hire a pilot. For those who want to see these lattices live, come to Lattice Gallery at 316 NW Broadway | Portland, OR 97209. Lanahan's lattices are live at the Lattice Gallery during Portland's First Thursdays, November 7th, December 5th and by appointment.
For those citizens against noise pollution and against the FAA allowing pilots to harass neighborhoods based on their appearance from the sky, please note that the FAA has been advised and has started an investigation.
