New Software Enables Law Enforcement to Follow FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy

The product, CABEM CJIS Manager, allows organizations to track mandatory CJIS requirements for vendor employees.

The FBI policy is in place to set standards for protecting, securing, and tracking criminal justice information. After speaking with law enforcement agencies (LEA) and understanding the need to make the process of tracking requirements and meeting the standard easier, CABEM developed the new software in compliance with the latest CJIS Security Policy, CJISD-ITS-DOC-08140-5.8.

The product also can assist physical access personnel, who can quickly look up a vendor employee's on-site compliance and approve or reject facility access.
