Leifson's experience and education is notable in its variety, with a focus on developing improved security measures and advanced forensic analysis methodologies.

Before joining BlackStone, Leifson worked with Microsoft's Detections and Response Team, specializing in threat hunting, security monitoring, incident analysis, and incident response.
