Echodyne CTO to Discuss CUAS Sensors and Deployment Considerations at Counter UAS Summit


Echodyne, the manufacturer of innovative, high-performance radars for government and commercial markets, announced today that the company will be leading multiple discussions on the importance of using radars in detecting and avoiding drones and UAVs at the Counter UAS Summit this week in Washington, DC. The event will take place at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel from August 20th ? 22nd. The company will also be exhibiting their products at the show.

Speaking at the Counter UAS Summit

Echodyne's co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Dr. Tom Driscoll will lead a session in the Pre-Show Summit on August 20th entitled "CUAS Sensors & Deployments Case Studies." At this session, Driscoll will discuss advantages of high-performance sensors for establishing secure airspace perimeters and highlight some of the company's recent work.

Echodyne's VP of Business Development, Jeff Finan, will further discuss the critical role of sensors in Counter UAS when he joins the industry panel titled "Challenges and Opportunities Facing the CUAS Industry" on August 22nd.
