nVent Foundation Grants $125,000 in Support of Youth STEM Education

The newly established nVent Foundation today announced its first grants to nonprofit organizations, with a focus on youth education programs. In awarding 14 grants in communities where nVent Electric plc has business operations in the U.S., the Foundation selected programs that offer hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) learning experiences to young people, especially youth from underserved or underrepresented communities.

"We are proud to partner with these great organizations and are excited to be awarding our first charitable grants as a new company. STEM education is a natural focus area for nVent, and we look forward to learning more about the positive impact these programs have in our communities," said Beth Wozniak, nVent CEO and nVent Foundation president.

The 14 nonprofit organizations selected include:

Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities (St. Paul, Minn.) for out-of-school STEM enrichment activities
