The Americas & Caribbean Winners Revealed in Ethical Boardroom's 2019 Corporate Governance Awards

Ethical Boardroom Magazine, the leading global journal for corporate governance & ethics, has announced the much-anticipated The Americas and Caribbean Corporate Governance Awards Winners 2019

With its annual Corporate Governance Awards, Ethical Boardroom looks to showcase the businesses and individuals who have exhibited exceptional leadership in governance to ensure protection and long-term value for all their stakeholders.

The successful companies in the Americas and Caribbean that have landed a spot in this year's list of outstanding companies across industries, including construction, banking and utilities, include flight carrier Atlas Air, mining giant Barrick Gold Corp and Republic Financial Holdings from Trinidad & Tobago.

All finalists in the Ethical Boardroom Corporate Governance Awards 2019 are scrutinised and analysed across key governance attributes, including Board Leadership, Board Governance, Shareholder Rights and Transparency.

Ethical Boardroom Executive Editor Miles Hamilton-Scott said: "Deciding which companies are ?Corporate Governance Champions' and which are not is an extremely challenging exercise. The objective of good corporate governance is to promote strong, viable and competitive corporations and we're pleased to recognise those companies in the Americas and the Caribbean that are rising up to the challenge.

As well as revealing its prestigious Award Winners, the Summer issue of Ethical Boardroom also addresses the implementation of the Shareholders' Rights Directive II and its implications on investment strategies and remuneration structures.
