Altar'd State Announces Kim Parr as VP Merchandising for A'Beautiful Soul
Altar'd State announced today the appointment of Kim Parr to the newly created position of VP, Merchandising for A'Beautiful Soul, a brand that celebrates women sizes 10-24.. This announcement serves as a significant milestone in Altar'd State's journey to growing the A'Beautiful Soul. The brand was designed to appeal to all of her senses and create a warm & inviting haven that welcomes and embraces every part of her.
After an extensive search partnering with Berglass + Associates, Ms. Parr was chosen to spearhead the brand. Ms. Parr has over 19 years of merchandising experience in specialty retail with proven skills in product development, brand building, trend analysis and team building.
Most recently, Ms. Parr worked at Talbots as the VP of Merchandising where she supported their migration to an Omni Merchandising structure. Kim also strategized the launch of RSVP by Talbots, an occasion segment for the brand. Ms. Parr is recognized in the industry as a passionate leader, motivator and influencer. "We searched high and low for a candidate that would protect and enhance the line created specifically for women size 10-24. Kim stood out because of her passion for the brand and her robust background of building curated brands. We feel her leadership will truly set A'Beautiful Soul apart," said Mary Beth Fox, the Company's Chief Brand/Merchandising Officer.
