IFIC Monthly Investment Fund Statistics ? May 2019


TORONTO, June 21, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) today announced investment fund net sales and net assets for May 2019. 

Mutual fund assets totalled $1.53 trillion at the end of May 2019. Assets decreased by $31.4 billion or 2.0% compared to April 2019. Mutual funds recorded net sales of $0.7 billion in May 2019. 

ETF assets totalled $177.8 billion at the end of May 2019. Assets decreased by $0.8 billion or 0.5% compared to April 2019. ETFs recorded net sales of $4.0 billion in May 2019.
