HAMILTON, ON, May 17, 2019 /CNW/ - The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Sport, will announce the latest investment in the Government of Canada's plan to attract global talent, promote diversity and provide researchers and students with resources to pursue their world-leading discovery work.
Minister Duncan will be joined by a representative of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), as well as researchers and students who will benefit from the new funding.
Following the announcement, media are invited on a laboratory tour that will highlight funding at McMaster University. Media are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in at the reception desk.
