Small Town Volunteer Fire Department Wins Coro Medical Sweepstakes for LIFEPAK 15 Defibrillator

FRANKLIN, Tenn., April 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Coro Medical official sweepstakes grand prize winner of the LIFEPAK 15 defibrillator is Heather Livingston and the Sardis Volunteer Fire Department.

As a small, volunteer-only department in rural Mississippi, Livingston entered the national contest with the hopes of being able to better serve the community and now, is the only department with life-saving equipment of this caliber in Panola County.

"We are so excited and can't wait to do great things for our community with this LIFEPAK 15," said Livingston.

The Sardis Fire Department have paramedics on staff who are currently striving to get approval for Advanced Life Support; the LIFEPAK 15 may be just the extra push they need to take a huge step forward in the process.

The winners of the LIFEPAK15 giveaway were randomly selected by a third-party source; however, the Coro Medical team could not have picked better recipients.

Tommy Wilkins, President of AED.US was thrilled with the contest results. "We have been serving the EMS community for 20 years and we love staying engaged with our current, and potential, customers. We appreciate all first responders and are overjoyed that this device is going to a well-deserving department."

Second place winner of three free AEDs is Dennis Bakka; third place winner of $1,000 service credit is Heather Howell; fourth place winner of $500 accessory credit is Jon Dezaruba.

Although this sweepstakes has come to an end, there are still plenty of opportunities to win an AED. Coro Medical has partnered with the American Heart Association and American Red Cross to teach CPR skills and donate AEDs every week for the rest of 2019 to a deserving public space in communities across the country.

The official AED weekly giveaway rules and details can be found through the online entry form. Winners are announced on the AED.US social media channels.

Coro Medical is also giving away two $1,500 scholarships to the college or university of choice. Rules and program details can be found here.

In addition to the new technology on the market, Coro Medical offers a Trade-In Program that will reduce the cost on the newest technology while providing an AED to an individual or organization that would otherwise be unable to place an AED.
